Originally from England I came to Canada in 1992, and have lived on Vancouver Island for most of that time. Having had the benefit of experiencing life in two different countries, I know first hand what it’s like to relocate to a new place, and to need guidance and help to find the right home and neighbourhood.
I have an arts background – a BA in Textile Design – and was self employed for over 20 years as a designer and visual artist, producing printed fabrics and facilitating courses and classes in textile printing.
My strengths come from my background of self employment, being motivated and dedicated, meeting deadlines, following through on details, and having an interest in people and their stories – being a good listener, and matchmaker of people to homes.
I chose to work with Royal LePage because of their philosophy of putting the needs of their clients before anything else.
My interests include, running, hiking and dance. I maintain my links to the arts in Nanaimo and believe a strong arts community is integral to the enrichment and growth of our city.
